Salman Khan’s “Kick 2” is one of the most awaited Bollywood sequels and there has been a lot of buzz around the film’s lead actress. While Jacqueline Fernandez was seen opposite Salman in “Kick”, the latest reports hint that Kriti Sanon has been roped in for the project.

According to a report in Spotboye, Kriti has been finalised as Salman’s heroine in the movie, which will be directed by Sajid Nadiadwala. Sajid was the one who launched Kriti in his production venture “Heropanti” opposite Tiger Shroff.

“I missed out on an opportunity to work with Salman Khan in ‘Kick’. I was offered the film but could not take it up as I had signed a three-year contract with Shankar for my regional film ‘I’. I had been a fan of Salman Khan even before debuting in Bollywood. It is my dream to work with him. Salman and I are good friends and I hope I get a chance to work with him again soon,” Amy told Catch News earlier.

Ever since Salman confirmed that Jacqueline would not be a part of “Kick 2”, names of several actresses have been coming up as the film’s lead actress. The film is expected to go on floors in mid-2016.
