Airlift 13th Day Collection 2nd Wednesday Box Office Report


In 2014, the Akshay Kumar’s “Holiday” stolen the hearts of the viewers and made the bond strong among the fans. The love and affection of the fans and viewers made the flick touch Rs. 112.65 Cr. Now, his own production is soon going to surpass this amount.

On Tuesday, the flick has collected Rs. 2.61 from the Indian market and made a total business of Rs. 107.90 Cr as per the Taran Adarsh tweet, “#Airlift [Week 2] Fri 4.50 cr, Sat 6.50 cr, Sun 8.26 cr, Mon 2.53 cr, Tue 2.61 cr. Total: ₹ 107.90 cr. India biz. SUPER!”

Directed by Raja Krishna Menon, the movie had completed with awesome 2nd weekend and still the performance graph is going constantly in weekdays. This story is only because of the strong words of mouth of the viewers and moviegoers. The theme and the story of the film are based on the real incident which shows the bravery of Indian commercial pilots.

Big producers such as Bhushan Kumar and Nikhil Advani joined hands to make this movie and the directed deeply studied the whole incident of 1990 after which the movie is able to steal the hearts of everyone.

The shooting of the production has been completed on a budget of Rs. 30 Cr and in just 3 days, it successfully recovered the whole investment and now the producers are happy to enjoy the big profit from the movie. Now the filmmakers have set the mark to Rs. 200 Cr after observing the statistics of the flick.

After “Airlift”, the co-producer Bhushan Kumar has also joined hand with Vashu Bhagnani for the production of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s “Sarbjit” which is being directed by Omung Kumar. The pre-release rumors of the movie sound interesting and could reach an optimum level of success.
