Becoming a teacher in one of the schools affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary education is not an easy task.
You don’t just gets to walk up with your resume to the principal of a school give an interview, and get selected.
This is something that is possible only in the private Institutions. But in order to get into a Government affiliated school one has to go through rigorous examining and tough interviews.
The examinations that the Aspiring teachers would need to clear are the Central Teacher Eligibility Test also known as C TET popularly.
The C TET exams are held at least 2 times in 1 years. The first round of exams are held in February and the second round is held in September.
For this year the first round has already been held on 21st February 2016. These exams invited applications from eligible candidates for at least a months ago and provided admit cards online.
The schedules and the dates of examination were also declared so that proper attendance in the exam could be held.
After the examinations almost everyone is nervous and worried about how their performance has been. That is the reason why an answer key has been put online for the Teachers to see and understand what a performance in the test was like.
This is a tentative answer key and the official one will be put online very soon. But you can take a look at these answers and get a rough idea of how you have performed. The official website from which these answers can be seen is c tet.nic.in.
The cutoff marks have already been declared online. The minimum score that the candidate should have in this C TET 2016 test should be 60%. Those who are able to score this percentage will be given and eligibility certificate.
This eligibility certificate will be valid for 7 years from the date of issue with the help of which the teachers can go through various government institutions affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education and applied to become teachers.
For those who do not have this eligibility certificate the application to be a teacher in such schools is completely out-of-bounds.
