Sanjay Leela Bhanshali has compensated Rs. 20.80 lakh to family of worker who died on Padmavati sets

Earlier, we informed you that one paint artist, Mukesh Dahiya died on the sets of Padmavati as he fell from a considerable height and was dead at the location. After the incident, worker’s union Film Studio Setting and the Allied Mazdoor Union had decided to file a legal action against the Sanjay Leela Bhansali for not paying the compensation to the family of the deceased worker.

However, the whole matter has been settled with Sanjay’s production house has paid the sum of Rs. 20.80 Lakh to the family of Mukesh Dahiya and also promised to lend a permanent job to Mukesh’s pregnant wife in their production house.

According to the reports, few membres from the Bhansali Production house has visited the house of Deceased worker and issued the cheque as the compensation to them.

Mukesh’s brother Sunil informed media wing that ” money can never compensate for the death of his brother, but he is glad that Sanjay has kept his word and compensated the family, which secured the future of the two sons of Mukesh.”

Apart from Sanjay’s Production house, the colleagues and co-workers of Mukesh have donated their one day salary, and together they have donated Rs. 2.20 lakh to Mukesh’s family.
