Game of Thrones 6 teaser Launched

HBO

Are you eager to watch Game of Thrones season after season despite what it does to you? Gear up for some more heartbreaking stuff as the next season is almost here: The hit fantasy drama TV series released a teaser for the sixth season late on Sunday and it definitely isn’t puppies and sunshine in its tone.

The teaser begins in the dark, damp Hall of Faces where we saw Arya in last season. We are shown faces of all major characters who have died so far, resting in the cervices of the walls, in the chronological sequence of their deaths. First, of course, we have Ned Stark and his famous words are heard: “The man who passes the sentence, should swing the sword”. Good job HBO on hitting us right where it hurts in the first scene itself.

Then we see King in the North, Robb Stark and we hear: “I’ve won every battle but I am losing this war.”

Next up is Lady Katlyn and her words of vengeance: “Show them how it feels to lose what they love”.

Then finally there is someone who is not a Stark – we see King Joffrey Baratheon, nice and dead and his words resound: “Everyone is mine to torment” and we finally feel a little good.

The next face is the one that gave us the freshest wound, Jon Snow. His words: “The long night is coming…” and in the rest of his sentence, we see the dead faces of Tyrion, Daenerys, Arya, Sansa and Cersei while Jon completes his line: “…and the dead come with it”!
